In reality, Separation of Church and State is one of the historically defining features of real Christian nations (for the obvious reasons that Jesus was tortured and brutally executed by one of human history’s most vicious mergers of state and church authority and Jesus himself explicitly taught against mixing state and religion in his own lifetime), so in undeluded fact, “Christian Nationalists” are pursuing a heresy that in truth only makes America a less “Christian” nation.
But then, don’t expect that crowd to make any room at the inn for a family of homeless refugees with a child on the way either.
