Poem: A Long Walk Home Sick Home

I was walking
A long winding road
With nowhere to go
Only somewhere
To leave
As far behind me
As I could
When suddenly it
Started to snow
Turned bitterly cold
But I had no warm coat

I was a single mote of snow
Spinning in the wind's flow
All alone in a howling void
Then I woke up
Back on the road
But now my feet
Were both gone
So I just floated along
Like a happy song
